Kathmandu, November 13
The All Nepal Football Association on Monday announced a 23-member squad for a match against Philippines to be played tomorrow under the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers.
Skipper Anil Gurung has made a comeback to the team. It will be Gurung’s 50th match from the national team. He has already announced to retire after the match.
Head coach Koji Gyotoku and coach Raju Kaji Shakya picked three goalies, seven defenders, eight midfielders and five strikers for the team.
The team includes:
Goalkeepers: Kiran Kumar Limbu, Bikesh Kuthu, Bishal Shrestha
Defenders: Biraj Maharjan, Rohit Chand, Ananta Tamang, Kamal Shrestha, Jitendra Karki, Rajendra Rawal, Dinesh Rajbanshi
Midfielder: Sujal Shrestha, Bishal Rai, Bikram Lama, Anjan Bista, Jagajit Shrestha, Heman Gurung, Hemanta Thapa Magar, Sunil Bal
Strikers: Bharat Khawas, Bimal Gharti Magar, Anil Gurung, Nawayug Shrestha, George Prince Karki
