CPN-Maoist Centre leader Lokendra Bista says he has quit the party. He says he decided to drop all responsibilities of the party citing his reservations on the party system.
Bista was in-charge of the party’s Tourism Department.
The leader says though the party achieved some dreams of the Maoist party, now it cannot achieve more dreams.
He says he will be a common citizen now as he cannot answer people’s questions on why the party revolted in the past.
Bista also expressed his dissent over party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal holding the leadership for years. He said the party could not rightly evaluate and manage its leaders and got involved in ‘dirty’ power games.
Bista says the announcement that the party would be merged with the CPN-UML was also an auxiliary reason behind his decision to quit.
