PM Deuba to campaign for party ahead of local elections in Province 2

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will campaign for his party ahead of local elections in Province 2 next week.

According to the Nepali Congress, Deuba will address an election in Saptari and Siraha on Tuesday, Dhannusa and Mahottari on Wednesday and Sarlahi and Rautahat on Thursday.

Congress leaders Ram Chandra Paudel and Sashank Koirala will also accompany Deuba to the rallies. On Friday, Deuba will address supporters in Bara and Parsa.

According to the party, Deuba will return to the capital only after the ‘silent period’ begins. Voters in 136 local bodies are going to polls on Monday, September 18.
