Kathmandu, September 7
Three Nepali startup companies have been listed on the Google Business Group Stories Search 2017.
Khalti, Khalisisi and Eco Cell Industries are three among nine top startups listed by the Google Business Group.
Khalti is a fin-tech company working to empower people in Nepal financially by driving the country towards a cashless economy. It envisions to ensure digital financial inclusion for every citizen in Nepal, by connecting people across the Himalayan mountains to technology and allowing them to digitally receive and make payments for services.
Likewise, Khalisisi is on a mission to make Nepal a zero-waste country. Eco Cell Industries was established with a vision to provide reliable, economic, environment friendly and earthquake-resistant construction materials.
Yellow Nepal, a Nepali startup company, had won the GBG inspiring stories contest in 2014.
