Kathmandu, August 10
Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj is calling on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba this afternoon before PM Deuba inaugurates the 15th Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation.
Swaraj landed in Kathmandu a couple of hours before for the meeting of seven-member regional body.
A source at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat says the meeting has been scheduled at 4:30 pm at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar. The inauguration will take place at 5 pm at Hotel Soaltee.
During the meeting, Deuba and Swaraj will discuss agendas of Deuba’s India visit scheduled for August 23-27, according to the source.
Likewise, contemporary political issues will be discussed.
