Kathmandu, April 21
Baburam Bhattarai-led Naya Shakti Party Nepal on Friday decided to participate in the local level elections scheduled for May 14.
A meeting of the party’s central committee made the decision today.
The party said it would make its election manifesto public within a week.
Meanwhile, the party also said its struggle to get own election symbol would also continue.
The party added that it was open to form election alliances with like-minded parties and fronts.
